How It Works
Ordering a personalised dog gift from Waggle & Ink takes about two minutes. Making it takes a little longer, because nothing is printed until you order. Here's exactly what happens, from the moment you pick a breed to the moment the parcel lands on your doormat.
1. Personalise: choose a breed, a coat and a name
Start with a product, a mug, print or canvas, Christmas decoration, hoodie or tote, or start with your breed:
- Cockapoo: apricot, black, chocolate or cream
- Labrador: yellow, black or chocolate
- French Bulldog: fawn, cream or black pied
- Cocker Spaniel: golden, black or chocolate
- Dachshund: red, black and tan, or chocolate and tan
On the product page, pick the breed and coat colour from the drop-down, then type your dog's name exactly as you'd like it printed. Names can be up to 14 characters, including spaces. Letters (including accented letters), spaces, hyphens, apostrophes, ampersands and full stops all work. Emoji can't be printed. Capitals print as you type them, so "Mr Pickles" and "MR PICKLES" will look different.

2. Proof: we check every name (and show you, if you'd like)
Every personalised order is read by a real person before it goes to print. If a name looks like a typo, or the breed seems to be missing, we'll email you before anything is made.
Want to see your design first? Tick "Send me a proof" on the product page. We'll email you a digital proof, and nothing prints until you reply to approve it. It's free. A proof adds a little time, so allow an extra working day or two, especially in December. More on this in Personalisation & Proofs.
3. Print: made to order in 2-5 working days
Once your order is confirmed (and your proof approved, if you asked for one), it's sent to our production partner, Printful, to be printed to order at its UK/EU facilities. Production usually takes 2-5 working days.
- Mugs are printed with dye sublimation, so the design is baked into the glaze rather than stuck on top. The design appears on both sides.
- Prints, framed prints and canvases are printed on thick matte paper or poly-cotton canvas.
- Hoodies and totes are printed directly onto the fabric.
- Christmas decorations are printed in full colour on natural Hinoki wood.
Because every item is made for you, there's no warehouse full of unsold stock, and your dog's name is printed just once: on yours.
4. Deliver: free UK delivery in 2-5 working days
When your parcel leaves the printer, you'll get a dispatch email, with tracking where the carrier provides it. UK delivery usually takes 2-5 working days after dispatch, and standard UK delivery is free on every order.
So, from order to doormat, allow roughly 4-10 working days in total, plus a little extra if you ask for a proof. Some Highlands, Islands and remote addresses can take longer. We deliver to UK addresses only at the moment.

If something isn't right
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as you ordered it, email hello@waggleandink.co.uk with your order number and a photo and we'll replace or refund it. Personalised items can't be returned just for a change of mind, but if it hasn't gone to print yet we can cancel it. Full details are in our returns policy and FAQ.
